Music Marketing Project

For this project, my group got the country genre, and I picked Noah Kahan and Luke Combs to research. I also looked at Republic/Mercury Records to see how the company works with their artists.

I started by checking there websites, social media, and some random articles. This helped me understand how eac artist promotes their music. Noah Kahan uses TikTok a lot and posts really personal stuff. Luke Combs uses more classic country marketing like radio, big tours, and strong fan support.

Then I filled out my chart by looking at what they post, what their music videos look like, and where people listen to their songs. I tried to think about why those choices help them reach fans.

Overall, this project showed me that music marketing is planned out but also different for every artist. Even though they’re both in the country/folk space, Noah Kahan and Luke Combs use different ways to connect with people.
